At Let’s Drive we want everyone to get out and give things a try. So for this trip we have organized a fun filled adventurous drive.

Beginners are highly advised to attend!!!!

Let’s Drive will be hosting its very first Desert Olympics.

You will be split into teams 3-4 cars max per group. Each group must have 2 marshal (experience desert) and 1-2 beginners (done less that 3 desert drives). The location is a regular off-road spot which we have visited many times, near Sharjah (Tawi Trail).

We will be playing a variation on “Capture the Flag”. Teams will be required to drop and recover flags that will be placed strategically in the area. Fastest team wins! More details will be provided at the meet up point.

There is a limit on the number of teams cars that can register. Max of 5 groups of 3-4 cars each.

* There is a charge per vehicle for AED25 (This will go towards the winners prize)

** Important Note for passengers: We will not be assigning anyone to any car, please contact the drivers to be their +1.  : )

What do you need to do:

1- Call your fiends (post messages here), get your team organized. Remember, two marshals and 1-2 beginner vehicles.

2- Pick a team leader (will be responsible for coordinating with me, Ali Bhai)

3- Fill in the google docs from for entire team. (Link posted below)

4- Once google docs from is filled in, please text me to confirm, then I will update the RSVP status of the team in meetup.

5- I recommend you create a whatsapp group for your team. I will coordinate with the team leader only, he/she can pass on the info.

Important Note:

1- All RSVPs will be routed to Waitlist first and we'll finalize the list of attendees.

2- Only 4x4 cars with good ground clearance & desert capabilities are allowed.

3- No "open passengers list" for this drive. Only drivers can bring their own guests /passengers.

4- We'll have be having a barbecue on this trip. (bring the hunger)

5- Trip meetup points will be shared with the selected members on our trip whatsapp group.

6- Marshal MUST have all basic and rescue gear and Radio!

7- Beginners MUST have basic gear!

8- Front / Back recovery points, flag, & snatch strap are MUST for all vehicles.

9- Flag (with pole) for ALL vehicles is a MUST (Safety First)

What to Bring:

1- Enough food/snacks and water/drinks for the duration of the drive.

2- If you are planning to BBQ, we will have a BBQ grill available for you to use. (You are welcome to bring you own too).

3- Bring your raw food and amenities accordingly.

4- Chairs to sit on. (Very Important)

5- Fire Wood (1 bundle per car)

6- Shisha (for those who smoke)

7- Sun protection / any medication you need.
