Let's Drive from Sunset to Sunrise

Gypsies! If you haven't done something exciting n crazy for a while here is a chance.

Lets drive to see the Sunset at Jabel Yibir and drive to Jabel Jais from there to see the Sunrise

We will start from our meeting point at 2:30 pm and reach the mountain peak at around 4:30 pm. We will spend some time to enjoy the view and wait for the sunset. At the sunset we drive down from the mountain and reach the base of Jebel Jais and and settle down for a bbq/dinner and campfire. After the bbq we will catch some sleep in tents or car till 4 a.m
We will then drive to the peak of the Jebel Jais and reach the peak at around 5 am. We will wait for the sunrise and have a special karak with snacks before we leave.

There is no off road track on this drive. However, the road has steep climbs with hairpin bends. 4X4 with good ground clearance is a must for the drive to Jebel Yibir. Those without 4X4 can skip this section and meet at the campsite directly

Things to bring:
1) Food and drinks (non-alcoholic) for you and your guests.
2) Folding chairs, rugs etc.
3) BBQ Grill and some charcoal will be arranged by us; however, kindly bring your own if you have.
4) Sheesha (optional)
5) Tents and sleeping bags

Please Note:
Meeting points will be communicated to RSVPs a day prior to drive.
There is no trip fee for old members however first-timers will contribute a fee of AED 50 per person.

By accepting to participate in this event, You agree that:

(a) Acceptance of your RSVP is only notional, and the Organizers reserve the right to select the final list of attendees.

(b) You are above 18 years of age, and in case you are bringing family or guests below 18, they shall be accompanied by you at all times and remain your sole responsibility.

(d) Let’s Drive or the organizers do not hold any responsibility for loss or damage of property (vehicle, gear etc.).

(e) You are responsible for your own safety and any act of negligence by You that endangers the safety of fellow passenger(s) or others.

(f) You give explicit consent to Let’s Drive and the organizers that any photos or videos of you and/or your family/ guests/ pet/ car/ gear taken on this trip (or an earlier trip), whether by the organizers or an attendee may be freely shared, used or published by Let’s Drive or the organizers in any form – print or digital – and/or posted on the group’s social media pages (Meetup/ Facebook/ Whatsapp/ Twitter/ Instagram/ Youtube and the like) for the purposes of illustration, promotion, branding, advertising or marketing or record and You explicitly waive any rights whatsoever to challenge or bring an action against Let’s Drive or the organizers/ hosts for use of such media for the stated purposes.
