Let’s Drive to LIWA and camp overnight

Gypsies..... before we say Good Bye to the season, let’s drive. This time to the ultimate desert paradise of Liwa –famously known as ‘THE EMPTY QUARTER’ or ‘RUB AL KHALI’

‘THE EMPTY QUARTER’ is the largest sand desert in the world encompassing most of the southern third of Arabian Peninsula and has some of the world’s highest sand dunes.

We plan to camp overnight
Date: 6th and 7th march

Activities:
Drive to Liwa, Campfire, Barbeque, Overnight Camping

Vehicle:
4x4 is preferred, however sedans can join. The non 4x4 vehicles will be parked and the passengers can be transferred to the campsite in the 4x4.

Gypsies should bring
Own food/drinks+ little extra to share
Tents and warm cloths as it may cold during the night.
Charcoal / Grill stand /tools / Wood etc will be arranged by us.

The drive starts 10:30 am on 06th March, We will reach the Liwa camp site approx 4 pm.

We will set up the camp before sunset somewhere near Tal Mureb (One of the world’s biggest sand dune).

Enjoy the bbq, camp fire and other camp activities then go to sleep in our tents.

We pack up and head back the next day morning.

Meeting point will be communicated a day in advance.
